The AIP is a plan that parents and teachers work together to develop when a child is having trouble keeping up with the skills required at his
grade level. This plan, which is written out and placed in a child’s folder, is used to chart and measure progress.
SIS Software has worked with educators and parents to develop a web-based solution for district Academic Improvement Plans.
Our system allows teachers to easily create and navigate through student AIP plans. We supply teachers with hundreds of district approved strategies.
Teachers can choose strategies in Math, Reading, Science, Writing, Language Arts and/or Social Studies. Individual student strategies are tracked in each
student's AIP plan by the date the strategy was started and the date the strategy was discontinued - allowing fast review of what strategies
have worked and which ones have been discontinued.
Th AIP-STAR can automatically import all student demographic information including test scores and rule-based formulas (FCAT Level 1/2) saving teachers time and ensuring the accuracy of the
student data during the creation process of the AIP.
District reports are available to allow administrators to monitor all student AIPs. Find out how many students have an AIP in the district or by individual schools. Run reports to
determine which students need an AIP - and find out whether or not an AIP has been created.
Our software permanently archives all AIPs to allow quick reviewing of historic AIPs, review AIPs of students that have withdrawn from the district, monitor who is creating/updating student AIPs
and much more.
During the deployment process SIS Software will work directly with your school district in providing you with a customized version of the AIP-STAR software to meet the needs and assessments of your district.
